First Climate is an “Accredited Solutions Provider” again in 2023
This year, First Climate is once again an accredited CDP Silver Renewable Energy and Science-Based Targets Partner for Germany, Switzerland and Austria (DACH). The accreditation stands for the reliability and competence with which First Climate supports companies in the implementation of climate strategies and climate protection measures.
With this partnership renewal and re-accreditation, CDP confirms that First Climate meets rigorous quality standards when working with companies and organizations that report to CDP. This especially applies to the climate protection service provider’s services in the areas of green energy and science-based targets.
Reliable and Competent Consulting for Companies
As a Silver Renewable Energy Partner, First Climate guides companies to successfully transition to green energy, reduce their scope 2 emissions and achieve a higher CDP score. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, First Climate works closely with companies to develop individualized renewable energy procurement strategies tailored to their specific needs.
In addition to this, as a CDP-accredited Science-Based Targets Partner, First Climate helps clients to define science-based targets and reduce their emissions in a timeframe compatible with the achievement of international climate goals. First Climate further advises companies on how to identify climate-related risks early and continuously measure the impact of the climate protection measures taken in relation to the set targets.
CDP Europe Awards 2023
Under the motto “Transform the Norm”, this year’s CDP Europe Awards took place in Paris in February. The award ceremony annually honors European companies and cities that, according to their CDP Score, are role models in the areas of transparent environmental protection and sustainable engagement. As an Accredited Solutions Provider, First Climate was present at the event. Vincent Erasmy, Team Lead International Sales at First Climate, represented the company and was pleased about the event for many reasons. “It was especially heartening that so many of our clients were among the award recipients. We warmly congratulate them on their well-deserved success. This shows that companies that not only talk about climate action and sustainability but put their words into action can successfully contribute to the sustainable transformation of economy and society with their active commitment.”
