Supporting B2Run’s climate engagement and participating in a company run
First Climate has been the official climate action partner of B2Run, a company run organizer, since 2020. Around 30 runners from the First Climate team will also be participating in one of the running events at Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park on October 1, 2024.
This year, an estimated 240,000 participants are expected to take part in the B2Run running series at 19 locations across Germany. First Climate’s team captain Heike Natzet, Head of Portfolio Management, Sourcing and Backoffice, is one of many looking forward to the event:

As in previous years, First Climate supports the event by taking on the role of the events’ official climate action partner. On behalf of B2Run, First Climate is responsible for the greenhouse gas accounting, in which the carbon footprint of the entire running season is calculated in detail. B2Run has also closely cooperated with First Climate to purchase carbon credits to support a certified renewable energy project in India.
